On November 12, 2019, a group of retirees organized a
meeting outside the Majlis (Parliament) of the regime in Tehran to protest
against officials' failure to respond to their demands. Mostly women,
protesters sang among other things, "we are furious about so much
injustice."
Simultaneously, a large number of investors whose life savings
had been stolen by the "Caspia" financial institution of the
Revolutionary Guard also organized a protest outside the Majlis, demanding that
they return their investments.
